Overview of Infinite Flight Simulator
While piloting an aircraft in the Infinite Flight Simulator, you will see all flight parameters such as airspeed, altitude MSL, heading, vertical speed, outer atmospheric temperature, fuel & load, and controls on the screen such as accelerometer, rudder brakes, parking brake, trim, landing gear, flaps & spoilers. Changes in the parameters will also affect your flight just like a real flight. So, you have to keep everything in mind.
Game Modes
There are three game modes – Solo, Fly Online & Air Traffic Control. You can play any mode you like. But online modes have some requirements based on the server you will select. Let’s read more details about these game modes.
Solo
Solo is an offline mode. In this mode, players can choose any plane, airport, route, arrival point, & departure point. They can also choose the weather condition & time to be real-time or custom. There are restrictions in this mode and they can land the plane anywhere.
Fly Online
It’s an online multiplayer mode of the Infinite Flight. In this mode, you can play with other players in real-time on three different servers, each with different rules & requirements. Unlike solo mode, you have to park your plane at particular airports. To know where you can park, you can see the airspace status table. If an airport has an ATC, you have to follow the time & commands from the tower too. Also, parking depends on the aircraft’s size.
Air Traffic Control
Air Traffic Control (ATC) is also an online mode but you will not fly any plane in it. In this mode, you can choose any station using the station frequency. On the airplane status table on that frequency, you can see how many planes will use any airport. If the airport has an ATC, you can control that airport and the planes inbound to it.
Servers in Online Modes
In the online & ATC modes, there are three servers players can use – Casual, Training & Expert. Each server has its rules & requirements and players must follow these rules to play on these servers. Both, fly-online & Air Traffic Control modes have these servers.
Casual
In this server, any grade player can enter and play the game. There will be no air traffic control & restrictions. They can pilot any plane and practice with other players. Breaking the rules and crashes will not affect their grade & stats.
Training
Players with grade 2 can access this server. It’s a good server for pilot & ATC practice and improves their skills. Their grades & stats can be affected and the server can issue violations if any player breaks the rules.
Expert
This server is only for experts who want to play the game very seriously. Only grade 3 players with less than 5 level 2 & 3 violations per year and 50% fewer level 1 violation than the total landings can play in this server.
