Rebel Racing is a car racing game offered by Hutch Games. It has more than ten million downloads on the Play Store. Choose your car, upgrade its engine, turbo, tires, nitro & other parts; race against the players from around the world & climb up in the leaderboard to the top.
Overview of Rebel Racing
Gameplay
When you start the Rebel Racing game, you will find yourself in a race. This first race is to give the controls tutorial. After that race, you can select a car from Tier D for free. An NPC will show you around the garage, upgrade system, shop, and how the race works. On the world map, you will see many types of races like easy money, head-to-head, double payout, ladder, etc. You will get an explanation of all race types in the next section. The number of opponents will depend upon the race type.
In a race, you can use the nitro only once. So, use it at the right time. On the track, you will a guideline to the finish line. Its color will be blue on the straight and yellow on the curves. While it’s yellow, your car goes into drift mode, and steering the car will drift it.
You will get points for drifting, air time, passing the opponents, and winning the race. How much money you will get on winning the race is fixed. You can see it on the race icon on the map. You will also get resources to upgrade your car. On earning a certain number of points, your player level increases and you get rewards.
In the Rebel Racing game, there is a fuel system. Fuel is required to start any race. Each race consumes a certain number of fuel tanks. You can store a maximum of 8 fuel tanks. A fuel tank refills automatically in 12 minutes. You can also buy it in gold.
Controls
The controls are easy to get but mastering them depends on you. It has two control schemes: Buttons & Tilt. In the button scheme, tap on the left and right arrows displayed on the lower screen to steer the car. When a curve comes, do a long tap on the buttons for drifting. In the tilt scheme, tilt your device to steer the car. When nitro is available, you will a red button on the right side to activate it. In the setting, you toggle the HUD, racing line, rebel points, and opponent tags.
Race Types
There are many types of races: Head-to-Head, Ladder, Daily Test Drive, Double Payout, Easy Money, Rebel Smash, etc. Some of these are as follows:
Ladder – A ladder has 20 races in it. The difficulty level and rewards increase with each race. You will race against 5 opponents and your objective is to beat them. Beat them and get better rewards with each win.
Head-to-Head Race – It’s a boss race. You will only race against the boss. Beat him/her and proceed to the next boss. When you defeat all the bosses of an area, the new area will open on the world map and new races will be available.
Daily Test Drive – Every day, a daily test drive appears on the map. In this race, you get the chance to drive a random top-tier car.
