Overview of The Division Resurgence
It has a separate storyline and campaign mode where you will know more about The Division 1 & 2. It features 4 character classes to choose from, a unique storyline, two PvP modes – Conflict Domination & Dead Zone, and a huge open-world map to explore. Play as the agent of the Strategic Homeland Division and fight against unlawful groups & hostile factions in a post-apocalyptic world to protect what remains.
The Dark Zone is Here
Dark Zone is the most hardcore mode in this game where you can’t even trust your teammates. It’s a PvPvE mode where you will enter a highly contaminated area with 3 teammates in search of high-level gadgets, gears, hardware, weapons, and equipment. But this area is not under the government’s control. And hostile factions, unlawful groups, and ferocious enemies live here. So, you will have to be very careful while searching & extracting the items.
There will also be other teams who will try to get their hands on the high-end loot. For them, you are their enemies as well. So, they won’t hesitate a bit before shooting you down and looting your hard-earned loot. So, be extra careful. And don’t think before shooting them.
The last thing about the Dead Zone is that your mask won’t be useful for a long time. So, you have to be fast. Before the mask’s effectiveness is over, search the equipment, loot it, and retreat from the zone. If you stay even after the mask is ineffective, you will be contaminated by the Green Poison Virus.
Now, how can you retreat from the Dead Zone with the loot? Here’s how. First, collect the loot by killing enemies & other players, and looting the crates hidden in the zone. These will be the contaminated loot. Then go to the extraction point and call for the SHD helicopter by using the flare gun. It will take some time for the helicopter to arrive at the extraction point. Until then, hold & defend the position. If someone kills you before your extraction, you will lose some of your loot that can be picked up by others.
Once it arrives, it will drop two ropes. Attach the contaminated loot on the first rope, and use the second rope for yourself. After a short period of time, the helicopter will take you back to The Division headquarters. But you can’t use the contaminated loot yet. To use it, you, first, will have to decontaminate it.
Betray the Teammates or Not?
Greed is the main cause of betrayal among teammates & friends. Here too, you or your teammates can betray each other to get all the loot for own selves. While extracting from the Dead Zone using the helicopter’s rope, you get the option to betray your teammates and cut their ropes. Then you can kill them and rob their loot. You will also get the Rogue status and others can target you too. Your position will be displayed on other players’ maps occasionally.
To remove the Rogue status, you will have to go further into the Dead Zone at the redemption point. The difficulties you will face will increase more after going rogue. But if you escape successfully, the loot will be worth it. Now, it’s totally up to you to go rogue.
