Overview of Cooking Diary
In the Cooking Diary game, your grandfather retired from the chef position and passed his restaurant on to you. Now you will run the restaurant. You will play the levels to get coins. In levels, customers will come and make their orders. You have to cook what they want. Each customer has 5 hearts that vanish over time. You have to serve them before that happens to get high tips and smiles. To cook a burger, tap on the beef patties, put them on the stove to fry, and them in buns.
Every food has different methods and requires different ingredients. If you leave anything on the stove for too long, that will burn and go to waste. To complete a level, you get a limited period of time and customers. There will be many types of goals you have to achieve like earning X coins, serving X customers, etc. Upgrade the kitchen & interior of the restaurant to get XP.
Boosters
There are two categories of boosters in the Cooking Diary: In-level and Pre-level boosters. In-level boosters can only be used while playing a level and pre-level boosters can only be activated before starting the level.
In-level Boosters
Candies – When a customer doesn’t get their ordered food, they start losing their hearts. You can use the candies to fully restore the customer’s hearts.
Wonder Dish – With the wonder dish booster, you can serve all dishes to any one customer no matter how many dishes he ordered.
Super Delivery – Too many customers on the counter and unable to cook? Use the super delivery booster. It will serve all the customers instantly.
Turbo Skates – This booster increases your movement speed for a limited time.
Pre-level Boosters
These types of boosters can only be selected before starting the level.
Instant Cooking – With it, you don’t have to wait for any dishes. All the dishes will be ready in an instant.
Non-Stick Coating – With this booster, you don’t have to worry about the burning of food. Your food will not burn on the stoves no matter how long it’s on it.
Double Profit – You will get double coins for each order during a level.
Appliances, Ingredients & Upgrade
To make varieties of dishes, you need many types of appliances such as a stove, dispenser, tray, etc. You can upgrade these appliances to increase their numbers and decrease the time they take to cook a dish. You can also upgrade ingredients to increase their quality. It also increases the price of dishes and you will earn more coins.
Use of Currency
Coins and rubies are the main currency in this game. Coins are used to upgrade the kitchen, and interior and decorate the restaurant. You can earn coins by completing the levels. After the first upgrade, rubies are also required to upgrade to the next levels. You can also use rubies in place of coins. You can get rubies by completing achievements.
