Overview of Fate/Grand Order
Fate Grand Order has turn-based card selection gameplay. You can create a team of up to 5 servants plus a support servant. During the battle, you will get 5 random servant cards in each turn and you have to select 3 cards to attack the enemy three times. When you select all 3 cards of the same servant, he will deal one extra attack. These cards are of three types: Buster, Arts & Quick. When you select all Buster cards, your servants’ damage will increase the damage for the same turn. Selecting all Quick cards will increase the critical rate for the next turn. Selecting all Arts cards will fill the NP (Noble Phantasm) bar.
There are 450 powerful servants and 450 craft essence. You can equip servants with craft essence to grant them buff in the battles.
Servants are divided into 13 classes. They can be strong and weak against each other depending on their classes. Here are some cycles to show the advantage and disadvantages against an enemy in battle:
When a servant attacks an enemy of the next class, it will deal high damage. Your attack will be resisted by the enemy if you target an enemy of the previous class. Always use these cycles to target the enemies so that they can’t resist your attacks.
Servants also have multiple skills. You can use as many skills as you want per turn. Skills have a cooldown period and can be used again for a certain number of turns. There are also Master skills you can use to support your team. Use materials or EXP cards to increase your servants’ levels. When a servant reaches his maximum level, you can awaken him to increase the level capacity. Increasing the levels will increase the ATK, HP, and other attributes.
There are mainly two modes you can play: Story Mode and Quests.
It is the story mode of the game. In it, you will go through the story and conversation between you and the in-game characters. You will uncover the mystery of why & how human history disappeared. You will also fight against many enemies and bosses.
In the Chaldea Gate mode, you can complete various quests to earn EXP cards, materials, QP, and mana prisms. Following are the quest modes:
Daily Quests – In daily quests, new quests will appear every day, and each day, you can earn certain rewards by completing the quests.
Interlude – In this mode, you have to complete the story mode to unlock the quests in which you will experience unique stories about your servants. There are chances to get skill rank-up and NP rank-up rewards.
