Gameplay of Jewels Legend
If you ever played Candy Crush which is also a match-3 puzzle game and super-popular, then you can easily play this one too. Both games are similar in gameplay with some differences in the combos, pieces, obstacles, and boosters.
There are thousands of levels. And in each level, you will have to match three or more jewels of the same color or type to clear them and achieve the objective. The objective will be different for all levels, for instance, collecting red jewels, collecting keys, breaking ice cubes, clearing all obstacles, etc.
You will have to complete the objectives in the given number of moves or you will fail. You can match a certain number of jewels in certain shapes to create special jewels and powerful combos. There are also boosters to speed up the game or to get some help if you get stuck.
Clearing the jewels gives you points. If there is a clearing chain after a match, then you will get more points. When all the objectives are achieved, then all unused moves will convert the same number of jewels into special jewels and set them off for more points. Special Jewels & Various Combos
There are some combos you can use to create certain special jewels. Matching the special jewels cast special effects and clear more jewels. These special jewels, their combos & effects are as follows:
Lightning Jewel – Matching 4 jewels in a row or column creates a vertical & horizontal lightning jewel respectively. When matched with the same jewels, it clears all the jewels in its row or column depending on its type.
Bomb Jewel – Matching 5 jewels in T or L shape creates a bomb jewel. Matching it, then, clears all its adjacent jewels.
Rainbow Jewel – Matching 5 jewels in a row or column create a rainbow jewel. It looks more like a diamond. You can match it with any adjacent jewel. On matching, it will clear all the matched jewels from the board.
You can also combine these special jewels with each other to create an ever more powerful effect on the board. For instance, combining bomb jewel and lightning jewel will clear all the jewels in 3 rows or columns depending on the direction of the lightning jewel. Or combining rainbow jewel and bomb jewel will convert all the jewels of the same color into bomb jewels and then set them off.
