Gameplay
In the Life of Mellow, you will have to build your village from the start to survive through hard times. When you start a new game, you can choose a mode – Basic, Wood, Stone, Tool, or Food Mode. In the basic mode, you will get 3 mellows, 3 tools of every type, and 20 meat. In the later modes, you will get all basic mode resources along with extra wood, iron, tool & food resources respectively.
On starting the mode, you have to collect the resources such as wood, stone, iron, fruit, meat, herbs, etc., and build all the necessary buildings like houses, sawmills, craft shops, herbalist shops, etc. for survival. The season will change from summer, fall, winter & spring. You will face all climate changes & various challenges along with them.
You can assign each mellow a job like a builder, lumberjack, iron miner, fruit picker, hunter, craftsman, woodcutter, etc. They will pick the resources automatically from the storage they need to do their job. They will also need food and medicines to stay healthy and clothes to stay warm & protected from the cold wave in the winter. Many factors can affect the mellows health.
From time to time, new mellows will want to join your group. You can accept or reject them. You can use the accepted mellows for the jobs. It will increase your working rate. But you will also need more food, houses, clothes, wine, & medicine to keep them healthy & happy. Just take care of everything. And try to survive as long as you can.
