Gameplay
Toy Blast is a match 2 or more cubes type puzzle game. There are thousands of levels in this game. In a level, you have to match 2 or more cubes of the same color to remove them from the board. The cubes above them will take their place then. There will be goals to complete the level like collecting a certain type & number of cubes, collecting toys, removing obstacles, etc. The number of moves you can use is also limited. So, complete the goals in those moves to complete the level, or you will lose a life. You can use boosters and power-ups to get some help in hard levels.
When you complete the goals and some of the moves remain. Then the remaining moves convert into boosters and clear the cubes. The score after all that will be the final score of the level and you will get stars according to that score. You will also get gold on completing the level.
Boosters
There are three types of boosters in the Toy Blast. You can create them in the level by matching a certain number of cubes. You can also select them before starting the level. When selecting the booster, then it will start the level with that booster at a random position. These boosters are as follows:
Rotor – Combine 5 cubes of the same color to create a rotor. When you tap a rotor booster, it clears all the cubes of the row or the column depending on its direction. The direction of this booster is random.
TNT Box – Combining 7 cubes of the same color creates a TNT Box. On using it, it explodes and clears all its neighboring cubes.
Puzzle Cube – Combine 9 cubes of the same type to create a puzzle cube. When you use it, it will clear all cubes of its color from the board.
Booster Combos
You can combine boosters for more amazing effects. They are more powerful than any booster alone. Read the following combinations of boosters and their effects.
Rotor + Rotor – Combining two rotors clears all the cubes of its row as well as the column.
Rotor + TNT Box – Combining these two boosters clear the cubes from three rows & columns.
TNT + TNT Box – Combining 2 TNT explodes in a 4×4 area, clearing all the cubes in this range.
Puzzle Cube + Rotor/TNT – When you combine any booster with the puzzle cube, then the puzzle cube converts all the cubes of its color into the combined booster like rotor or TNT, and then triggers them.
Puzzle + Puzzle Cube – Combining two puzzle cubes clears all the cubes from the board.
